Mastermind Matrix

Meeting Format:

  • Check-in: Each member tells of their progress (or lack thereof) since the last meeting
  • New business: Group members get some quick help on new items
  • “Hotseat”: An extended session where one of the mastermind’s members discusses an issue/problem affecting them and gets help from the entire group
  • Goal setting: Each member commits to new goals and/or actions to take in the time until the next meeting
  • Other business: Any other matters, if needed, are discussed before the mastermind ends
  • These three questions are the cornerstone of all my mastermind groups’ standard operating procedure:

1. What Are You Working On?

This question should be vague enough so it allows each of the mastermind members to answer in a manner that allows them to share comfortably. This is usually a general overview of their business without every detail.

2. What Is Working?

This is where your mastermind group members should share their discoveries and successes.

Bragging is allowed!

This is always the exciting part of each presentation because you learn whats growing their business and how you can apply it to yours.

3. What Do You Need Help With?

This question is where the magic begins. If you’ve provided a safe environment for your members, they’ll pull back the curtain and share their struggles.

Your other members will begin to ask questions, seeking some clarification, and follow up with amazing advice.
